# Aarma Bridge

### What are the cross-chain bridges

Cross-chain bridges are blockchain platforms that enable transactions between different blockchain networks. If a user wants to transfer crypto assets between blockchain networks, it is not possible to directly send assets to the different blockchain addresses due to technical limitations. Cross-chain bridges enable this process by allowing transaction funds from one blockchain to another using bridge functionality.

While most digital assets are tied to a specific blockchain, cross-chain bridges enable inter-network transactions powering a much broader digital ecosystem. Using cross-chain bridges, cryptocurrency owners can unlock the value held in their crypto portfolios for a wider range of real-life uses.

### Aarma Bridge

Aarma Bridge is a cross-chain cryptocurrency bridge between AarmaChain and other blockchain networks. It currently supports major blockchain supports like Ethereum and BNBChain while in plans to integrate other number of blockchain networks in future. There are multiple ways to access AarmaChain bridge, either via the bridge smart contract, Aarma wallet or official bridge website that provides the best UI among all.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://aarmaproject.gitbook.io/aarmachain-documentation/ecosystem/aarma-bridge.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
